Physician Assistant

Dr. Moshe Lewis MD's practice is a growing integrated medical clinic that seeks a Physician’s Assistant. The ideal candidate will have some basic experience in functional metabolic medicine; have a strong interest in helping patients overcome chronic health issues through a combination of diet, lifestyle and prescriptive therapy; be willing to continue to learn and grow in this exciting field of medicine; have excellent communication skills and superb organization. Education and training is available for the right candidate. This is a part-time position that will move into a full-time role within 6 months with competitive pay.

Moshe Lewis MD, based in San Carlos MD, is an integrated medical clinic specializing in physical rehabilitation and functional medicine. Our provider team works together to take an in-depth look at the underlying problems causing symptoms. Performance Objectives:

Evaluate new patients to determine if and which services they could benefit from

Monitor patients for improvements and set-backs so as to modify services to help patients meet or exceed expectations

Monitor patients for compliance and effectively communicate the need to follow recommendations

Train on, understand and engage in patient treatment using our established protocols, modalities and treatment options

Participate in patient care meetings and collaborate with multiple provider types

Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan

Complete and document medical exam

Recognize and acknowledge when patients improve and reach goals

Assist in the recruitment of new patients through internal and external lead generating activities

Engage in effective communication with clinical as well as administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience and an increased growth of company’s services

Properly complete paperwork on each patient encounter and keep notes current by the end of each shift to company standards

Ensure all patient care is focused on an upstream medical philosophy (prevention and function based) instead of a downstream one (symptom based)

Will follow all protocols written including: no prescribing class II narcotics and no prescribing anti-depressant/anti-anxiety medication to our patients. Will refer these patients to their primary care physician for said services if needed

Education & Experience:

Valid license in California

Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in applicable state

1 year experience in a private practice preferred

PODCAST PRODUCER
REMOTE
The podcast producer works closely with Doctors, executive producers, senior producers, associate producers, and hosts to create limited-run narrative series and interview and conversation-based medical podcasts. These shows have a variety of voices, genres, and formats.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:

Works with editors, associate producers, and talent to storyboard individual episodes and overarching series

Conducts pre-interviews and interviews independently
-
Shares constructive feedback on associate producer’s interview preps and conversation-based outlines
-
Practices self-editing
-
Captures and creates opportunities for great tape in the studio and in the field
-
Independently directs interviews and host narration sessions
-
Creates in depth prep documents for hosts, shaping an arc to a conversation or interview
-
Collaborates with hosts or producers to write scripts
-
Reviews select tape to help identify the best moments
-
Scripts, assembles and scores conversation-based episodes exceptionally, on a tight deadline, with technical and editorial skill with little editorial oversight
-
Able to do basic mixing (level, EQ and compress) on conversation/interview based episodes
-
Responds to RFPs when asked and available, pitches and brainstorms podcast concepts
-
Contributes and develops initial show ideas into a workable concept with the production teamADMINISTRATIVE

Confidently leads larger scale conversation-based show productions

Independently creates realistic production calendars and meets deadlines based on the schedule

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially working with strong-willed creative talent and A-list talent
-
3 to 5 years experience in audio production (narrative not required, internships count)

Fluent in audio editing software (Hindenburg or Pro Tools preferred)

Demonstrated ability to organize multiple projects at once and work across geographically-dispersed teams
-
Ability to work collaboratively, with multiple people of different opinions, backgrounds and experiences
